26 complaints against nurseries

The Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) has received 26 complaints against nurseries this year. During yesterday’s TDM radio phone-in show, IAS representatives stated that an average of 20 complaints were received each year. This year’s complaints primarily related to administrative operations and injuries to children. Lawmaker Wong Kit Cheng stated that the IAS has collaborated with various associations to conduct childcare training as part of efforts to enhance the academic qualifications and skills of new childcare workers.
