Air Macau has introduced more carriers into its fleet in order to service increased flights to and from South Korea and Taiwan, as well as the company’s newly-launched flights to Japan’s Fukuoka that will commence early next year. Despite the current economic downturn, the airline’s executives said that the company has “maintained their profits” as a result of their cost-lowering and product-diversifying efforts. The company also expressed its hopes for its business outlook on the sidelines of a blessing ceremony for the company’s sixth carrier model Airbus A321. As of next year, the airline’s fleet will consist of 17 aircrafts.
