70-year-old falls from height, sustains head injury

A man around the age of 70 fell from two meters over the weekend when he was redecorating at a Christian church. He was sent to hospital as he sustained a bone fracture to the back of his head. The incident was made known to the Fire Services Bureau Saturday morning. Arriving at the scene, paramedics saw the man lying on the ground. They immediately transported him to the private Kiang Wu Hospital. Citing information given by the man’s family, he fell from a two-meter-tall aluminium ladder while working.

City sees 81st Covid-19 patient

The toll of Macau Covid-19 patients went up to 81 as a returnee from Hong Kong tested positive with mild cough and headache symptoms February 26 while in hotel quarantine. The 63-year-old male resident is now hospitalized at the Public Health Clinical Centre in Coloane. According to the Health Bureau, the man received his first dose of the mRNA vaccine in January 2022. On February 19, he arrived in Macau with negative test results. Tests conducted the next four days were negative. The government did not report any travel history of the resident.
