MGM Cotai hosted 22-hour live countdown

MGM Cotai offered the very first round-the-clock “Celebrating with the World” New Year’s Eve live-steaming countdown celebration at the Spectacle of MGM Cotai to welcome in 2019. As midnight drew near, the festive note and digital flare of the world’s largest arrangement of permanent indoor LED screens ushered guests into 2019 with a crescendo of cheers, the gaming operator noted in a statement.

The 22-hour live countdown marathon, including nine time zones, started at 7 p.m. on the New Year’s Eve and continued until 4 p.m. on January 1, when the West Coast of the USA finally cheered for the New Year’s Day.
