This April The Lounge at JW Marriott Hotel Macau has prepared new cocktails, small plates and other culinary creations to offer in an elegant space and a casual atmosphere. Carved from antique cream stone and embellished with raindrop-inspired glass chandeliers, the interior embodies an understated luxury and the setting enables guests to savour crowd-pleasing treats from across the globe, including new signature dishes such as Marinated Flank Steak Fajitas, Prawn and Avocado Tostada, Beef Tenderloin Rendang and Grilled Spicy Thai Pork Collar. The eclectic food menu is designed to cater to every palate and occasion. In addition, every Friday and Saturday night, live performances from local DJs and a cocktail trolley fitted with a mixing table will transform the venue into an exuberant space of social mingling, where patrons rub shoulders with one another in the company of lively music and drinks customised to their individual preferences.
Apart from a variety of light tapas and sharing plates, those looking for the full experience can try the Signature Tasting Menu, which comes in two options. The two-person set showcases five of the venue’s most popular dishes and different drink pairing choices; while the four-person set comprises seven courses, plus wine or cocktails—based on tailored recommendations from our mixologists.
The establishment will present a quartet of brand new JW Marriott Mixologist cocktails, developed in partnership with Tippling Bros. under the guidance of celebrated nutritionist Keri Glassman. Aptly dubbed “Cocktails with a Purpose,” the four drinks are crafted with sustainability and wellness principles in mind. The Bluegrass Smash, in particular, featuring a bright, revitalising combination of citrus, herbs and bourbon, will satisfy those seeking a sense of invigoration. The Lounge has also created three Macau-inspired concoctions named the Three Lamps, after the eponymous local district beloved for its lively vibes. The trio, consisting of three margaritas with different flavors—Original, Spicy Mango and Frozen Blue, promises to get you in the summer mood with their refreshing, tropical tastes. IRENE SAM, MDT
