SJM hosts work experience sessions for young adults

In line with its “from society, for society” principle, SJM organized a “Workplace Experience Series” earlier in May at the Grand Lisboa Palace, involving young adults from the Centro Residencial Arco-Iris Youth Home of Caritas Macau and Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Services Coordination Office which the company said would help them “develop their potential” and “pave the way for a better future.”

The series of workshops included vocational training seminars during which SJM employees shared practical knowledge on topics such as interview skills, resume writing and dress codes, as well as Q&A sessions to give participants a better understanding of employment standards in integrated resorts and corporations, as well as the workplace environment in these companies.

The program ended with a visit to the SJM back-of-house areas to reinforce attendees’ job-seeking skills and to empower them to prepare early and build a solid foundation for their future careers.
