The “2024 GEG Lusofonia Festival” kicked off last Friday, presenting a combination of Chinese and Portuguese arts and cultures that will last over two weekends (until Nov. 3). This year, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has taken on a new role as an organizer, collaborating with the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) to jointly host the Festival.
Additionally, GEG jointly organized the “GEG Traditional Music and Dance Performance” with IC for the 6th “Encounter in Macao – Arts and Cultural Festival between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries,” showcasing the lively rhythms and colorful dances of the different Portuguese-speaking cultures at numerous spots across the city, including the Diamond Lobby and Crystal Lobby of Galaxy Macau integrated resort.
To foster community engagement in culture and arts, GEG also partnered with the Youth Volunteers Association of Macao to invite family members from the Iao Hon Community Center of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Macau to partake in these celebrations, where they enjoyed traditional dance performances and cultural games with members from the GEG Volunteer Team.
