In celebration of the first year anniversary of Mome TV, Mome is launching an O2O interactive game platform with prizes.
From July 17th to August 7th, on Transmac buses with Mome TV installed, participants can link to the MOMEplay interactive game platform with their smartphones via Bluetooth and WeChat “Shake” function. By playing the game “Shout Out Loud” and filling in the survey, participants will have a chance to win prizes, including cash, five star hotel packages, tablet PCs, smartphones, and bank gift cards etc.
“MOMEplay is a brand-new project of Mome. We ultimately hope to form real time interactive communications between personal electronic devices and TV programs,” Joseph Chan and Joe Liu, directors of Mome, said. “By leveraging WeChat, users of MOMEplay not only have fun with interactive games and win prizes, but also enjoy discount coupons with digitalized redemption process.”

On Wednesday The Walt Disney Company unveiled key creative elements of Shanghai Disneyland, including its six themed lands filled with world- attractions and live entertainment – many of them a first for a Disney park.
Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger revealed a scale model of the theme park and displays showcasing key highlights of attractions, entertainment, dining and hotels at a presentation held Wednesday at the Shanghai Expo Centre.
“We are building something truly special here in Shanghai that not only showcases the best of Disney’s storytelling but also celebrates and incorporates China’s incredibly rich heritage to create a one-of-a-kind destination that will delight and entertain the people of China for generations to come,” said Iger. “We are taking everything we’ve learned from our six decades of exceeding expectations – along with our relentless innovation and famous creativity to create a truly magical place that is both authentically Disney and distinctly Chinese.”
mgm’s grand imperial court showcases fresh wild mushrooms
MGM Macau is presenting a Yunnan Mushroom feast at Grand Imperial Court in July, with seasonal fungi flown in fresh from Yunnan, China.
China is the world’s largest producer of edible mushrooms. Renowned as the “Kingdom of Biodiversity”, Yunnan is home to over 600 species of wild mushrooms. The best season for sampling these mushrooms is between the end of July and early August.
Using Yunnan mushrooms, Grand Imperial Court is presenting dishes including the Pan Fried Dace Fish Patty with Termite Mushroom, Marinated Matsutake Mushrooms with Fresh Cordycep Flower in Scallion Oil and Wok fried US Prime Black Pork with Sarcodon Aspratus Mushrooms and Eggplant in XO sauce.
The menu is available for a limited period from July 20 to August 23.
