The 2015 Macau International Kart Grand Prix will be held from December 10 to 13 at the Coloane Karting Track. The organizing committee hosted a press conference yesterday to announce the details of the event. Around 140 karters from Australia, Italy, the Netherlands, France, U.S.A., Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Macau will compete in 7 races involving a total of 11 groups.
The heats include the Asian Karting Open Championship (AKOC) Formula 125 Open Senior, Junior and Veteran Class; Rotax Max Junior and Senior; Mini Rok; Rok Senior; Formula Cadet; AAMC Cup (X30 Senior and Veteran), KZ Macau Cup; as well as the CIK-FIA Asia Pacific KZ Championship. Free admission will be offered to spectators looking to experience this 4-day event organized by the Automobile General Association of Macau-China (AAMC), co-organized by the Macau Sport Development Board and the Macau Government Tourist Office.
