The Secretary for Administration and Justice, Sonia Chan, is currently touring Vietnam, following an invitation from the country’s Ministry of Public Security, a statement from her office said. The three-day visit began yesterday.
Chan will meet the Minister of Public Security as well as the Public Prosecutions Office of Vietnam in order to seek solutions on cooperation between the two parties in judiciary terms, namely on penal matters and the reinforcement of police cooperation. Chan’s delegation includes members of several of the SAR’s judiciary authorities, namely the Public Prosecutions Office, Secretariat for Security and the Court of Final Appeal.
