As part of Sands China’s Local Small, Medium and Micro Suppliers Support Programme, two local SMEs contracted by Sands China are currently holding roadshows at the back-of-house areas of Sands Macao, The Venetian Macao, Sands Cotai Central, and The Parisian Macao.
The roadshows are part of Sands China’s commitment to further support local procurement and SME growth by offering more business opportunities to local small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), micro-enterprises, young entrepreneurs, and “Made-in-Macao” enterprises.
Between December 18 and 29, local SME suppliers China Product & Special Production Co. and Pure New Zealand Product Shop are displaying close to 80 types of products to Sands China’s 28,000 team members, offering them at a discounted price.
Roadshows like these are held regularly for Sands China team members.
They benefit SMEs by giving them access to potential customers, while giving Sands China’s team members a chance to enjoy discounted offers.
Audi recalls over 52,000 cars; fuel lines can leak
Audi is recalling more than 52,000 luxury cars in the U.S. and Canada to fix fuel lines that can leak and increase the risk of a fire.
The recall covers certain A6 and A7 cars from the 2012 through 2014 model years.
The Volkswagen luxury brand said in government documents that the fuel lines have a compression point to make them easier to install. But over time, that point can weaken and may leak fuel.
The documents posted yesterday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration say the cars were made between Jan. 25, 2011 and Sept. 13, 2013. Audi says no fires or injuries have been reported.
Owners will be notified starting Feb. 5. Dealers will replace the faulty fuel lines.
