AAMC and SEMAC organize crisis management course

The Civil Aviation Authority of Macau (AACM) and SEMAC Security Company have organized a crisis management course on aviation security. The aims of the course are to instruct personnel in the security forces about crisis management procedures and relevant skills.
AACM said in a statement that the course focuses on, amongst other things, “regulations and requirements in crisis management, the concept of crisis management, key components in a crisis management plan and the handling of a crisis when it arises.”
A total of 20 participants were enrolled in the course that will run until Friday at the training center of the security company, located at the city’s international airport. Participants who have completed and passed the assessment will be presented with the course certificate.
AACM organizes a variety of courses on a regular basis to provide necessary training to industry partners and the organizations involved in aviation safety and security. The aviation authority said they want participants to increase their understanding of the regulations and international standards so as to increase their capacity and skills in handling emergencies.
