The opening ceremony of a new exhibition, “La Vie en Macau, Photography Exhibition by Antonio Leong,” will kick off today at Albergue SCM at 6.30 p.m.
Co-organized by Albergue SCM and the Círculo de Amigos da Cultura de Macau, “La Vie en Macau” (Life in Macau) showcases 30 photos of Macau city landscapes with the subtopics of “Life in Macau” and “This is the Macau.” The multiple facets of the city are presented to the audience through the lens of the artist, revealing a distinctive cultural atmosphere.
According to a statement from Albergue SCM, Antonio Leong has been involved in photography since 2010 when he started to ride his motorbike through the streets of Macau.
Today he captures images of everything from the well-known UNESCO heritage sites to the lesser-explored streets and alleys. He has participated in exhibitions and solo exhibits since 2013, including in Macau and Paris.
The exhibition will run from tonight until June 11. Admission is free.
