Art | ‘Mr Satie Made in Paper’ draws children, parents to CCM

The Macau Cultural Centre (CCM) hosted the last show of “Mr Satie Made in Paper” yesterday, a piece that kicked off this year’s ARTmusing Summer program.
According to a statement issued by CCM, toddlers and their parents enjoyed a “revealing and playful” musical theatre experience through the eight performances hosted at the small auditorium.
Brought together by Atofri Theatre, a leading Polish company producing children’s shows, “Mr Satie Made in Paper” revealed how imagination can transform paper, which is also used as both an instrument and a playtime partner, in an eye-catching setting.
Created in 2008, the Teatr Atofri developed plays addressed to the young audience aged one to five years old, aiming to engage young children’s minds through the “magic of theatre.” The company describes the world in a “simple, yet poetic manner.”
The ARTmusing Summer Program will run until the end of August, bringing a wide variety of performances and workshops for the entertainment of toddlers, children and grown-ups.
