Arts | Printmaking Triennial exhibition extended

3The Museum of Art’s “2nd Macau Printmaking Triennial” exhibition, which presents printmaking works by artists from around the world, has been extended to April 10.
The event received 560 submissions from 22 countries and regions. Local printmaker Wong Cheng Pou planned this year’s exhibition, which is the first edition to accept submitted works.
The prints, chosen by nine judges, are displayed in the Museum of Art alongside other selections from Croatia, Canada, India, Indonesia and more.
The first prize went to a copper etching titled “Macau People” by local printmaking artist Cheong Cheng Wa.
Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau, in collaboration with local arts and culture hubs, the exhibition has been open to the public since November on the ground and first floors of the museum.
The “Chinese Printmaking New Scene” exhibition at the Tap Seac Gallery has also been extended to April 10.
