A woman delivered her baby with the help of a retired fire fighter on a street in Toi San District, near the Border Gate, local Chinese newspaper Macao Daily News reported.
It was reported that the woman was walking alone when she suddenly felt pain. A nearby shop offered her a chair, but it is unclear whether the woman gave birth on the chair.
The labor went smoothly with the assistance of the former employee of the Fire Services Bureau, according to the report. Both the mother and the baby were taken to hospital by ambulance.
