Blue-card holders increasing

The number of non-resident workers increased by about 18,000 over a period of one year, data from the Labour Affairs Bureau has shown. September figures show there were more than 171,000 blue card holders in the territory, compared to 153,000 in the same month last year. Most come from mainland China (118,694), followed by 7,655 from the Philippines and 2,287 from Vietnam.
