A three-year action plan was released earlier this week by China’s economic planning body aimed at fostering a world-leading business environment within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Sources within the National Development and Reform Commission said the move is aimed at deepening cooperation within the area and enhancing market integration and international competitiveness in the Greater Bay Area. After three years of hard work, the Greater Bay Area is expected to be at the global forefront for business competitiveness, according to the plan.
