In order to collect more funds for charity, BNU and Tung Sin Tong launched the Tung Sin Tong Visa credit card in 1999, where BNU donates 1% of customers’ retail spending on this affinity credit card to Tung Sin Tong.
No annual fee is charged to Tung Sin Tong Visa Card holders.

Since the inception of this donation scheme, BNU has contributed more than MOP 10.4 million to Tung Sin Tong, in an example of cooperation between the financial sector and a non-profit organization.

Sheraton Macao hotel continues to cultivate local talent for the hospitality industry

Sheraton-MacaoSheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central, hosted an official ceremony on Monday, March 23, to mark the completion of working rotations and recognize student achievements for year 2013 and year 2014 participants in the Sheraton Macao Professional Development Scheme. As well as students and parents and high school principals, the hotel group also invited Professor Aliana Leong, Vice President of Macau City University; Ms. Rachel Chan, General Manager, Human Resources of Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central and The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central; and the hotel’s management team.
The Sheraton Professional Development Scheme provides Macau City University students enrolled in the Bachelor of International Tourism and Management degree program with the opportunity to gain work experience at the hotel in parallel with their academic studies. The scheme was started in 2013 and 76 students were accepted into the program.
“The Sheraton Professional Development Scheme is a fantastic opportunity for travel and tourism students to gain firsthand experience of working in a busy, fast-paced hotel environment, all whilst having their tuition fees subsidized,” said Rachel Chan, General Manager of Human Resources, Sheraton Macao Hotel and The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central.
