BNU donated MOP1,600,000 to Tung Sin Tong in a ceremony chaired by Mr. Chui Sai Cheong, President of Tung Sin Tong and Mr. Pedro Cardoso, CEO of BNU.
Established in 1892, Tung Sin Tong has been a leading charity organization in Macau, providing free medical services and education for citizens in need.
In order to collect more funds for charity, BNU and Tung Sin Tong launched the Tung Sin Tong Visa credit card in 1999, where BNU donates 1% of customers’ retail spending on this affinity credit card to Tung Sin Tong.
No annual fee is charged to Tung Sin Tong Visa Card holders.
In 2012, BNU launched the Tung Sin Tong Platinum Affinity Card.
Since the inception of this donation scheme, BNU has contributed more than MOP 10.4 million to Tung Sin Tong, in an example of cooperation between the financial sector and a non-profit organization.
