Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel and The St Regis Macao are collaborating on July 23 and 24 to co-host “The Wedding Showcase”, a stunning collection of the latest couture wedding gowns from top designers.
The Showcase also features collections of jewelry, wedding gifts, make-up, photography and videography services provided by exclusively selected partners to help brides and grooms create their perfect wedding.
According to the resorts’ press release, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts have built a global reputation for personalized service and enchanting experiences.
It is in this spirit that St. Regis has partnered with one of the top U.S. luxury fashion brands, Marchesa. The partnership will create four one-of-a-kind couture bridal gowns inspired by some of St. Regis’ most iconic urban and resort destinations: Mumbai, Dubai, Punta Mita and New York.
“Each unique gown combines classic sophistication, bespoke craftsmanship and opulent contemporary features that reflects the aesthetics and culture of the destination that inspired it,” reads the press release.
‘All that matters’ moves to Marina Bay Sands
The award-winning “All That Matters” festival will be hosted by Marina Bay Sands between September 11 and 15.
Fully supported by the Singapore Government, the conference will bring the Music Matters, Sports Matters and Digital Matters events all under one roof, the All That Matters’ press release states.
The festival is expected to attract thousands of executives and fans from all over the world.
All That Matters will be held between the Ultra Music Festival (September 10-11) and the Singapore Grand Prix 2016 (September 16-18).
The festival, previously hosted by Ritz Carlton, won twice at the Singapore Experience Awards’ Trade Event of the Year.
All That Matters hosts a weeklong festival convening the music, sport, and digital entertainment industries.
Qatar airways extends global ambitions
Qatar Airways is extending its global ambitions with plans to buy a stake in Latam Airlines Group SA, securing a partnership with South America’s biggest carrier as it scouts for opportunities to lock down relationships with other airlines.
Qatar will buy as much as 10 percent of Chile-based Latam for USD613 million, the No. 2 Gulf carrier said yesterday at the Farnborough Air Show. With the agreement, Qatar is making its second investment in a fellow member of the Oneworld alliance after previously buying 15 percent of IAG SA, which is one of Latam’s closest allies.
State-owned Qatar is advancing its efforts build a network of international partners, even though its influence is typically limited by laws restricting foreign shareholdings. In addition to its stake in IAG and the deal with Latam, it’s also interested in Royal Air Maroc, which would provide access to North African markets, as well as Italy’s Meridiana SpA.
