_MG_7038Australian tap dancing sensation Tap Dogs is gearing up to perform at The Venetian Theatre from today until Nov. 8.
To announce their arrival in Macau, several cast members danced their way to St. Mark’s Square at The Venetian for a surprise performance that saw dancers Chris Erk, Anthony Russo, Richie Miller, Justin Myles, Aaron Burr, Jacob Stonebraker, Kurt Csolak, Phillip Russo and musicians Noriko Terada, Nerida Wu heel tap, hop and toe stand their way through a routine from the show.
Created by renowned Australian choreographer Dein Perry, the show is an 80-minute non-stop dance and music performance that combines workmen, tap dancing and drummers to create a live theatrical performance. In water, on ladders, upside-down or jumping through scaffolding, the Tap Dogs move to the groove of their own beat as the team work together to bring the steel-works construction site alive. The tap dance show has played to sell-out crowds around the world and will add Macau to its list of over 330 cities on six continents when the show’s limited run kicks off at The Venetian Theatre today.

M.wallet_WiFictm launches ‘m.wallet+’ and ‘wifi bus+’ services

CTM yesterday announced, in collaboration with Macau Pass and MOME, the launch of “M.wallet+” (which is incorporated with Macau Pass card) and “WiFi Bus+” services. With the new application services, Macau residents will be able to enjoy network access anytime anywhere plus mobile payment service.
The CTM “M.wallet” & “WiFi Bus+” launch ceremony was held yesterday afternoon at Telecentro, CTM. Officiating guests included Ebel Cham, VP of Commercial, CTM, David Lao, Executive Deputy General Manager of Macau Pass, and Joe Liu, Director of MOME. The launch of “M.wallet” & “WiFi Bus+” is a result of CTM, Macau Pass and MOME combining under the “E-Commerce and Network Business Partnership” framework formed by the three parties early this year.
“M.wallet+”, launched in Macau for the first time, demonstrates a breakthrough in mobile payment. In the first stage, the Macau Pass card will be incorporated into the “M.wallet+”. Customers can use the M.wallet+ at over 3,000 Macau Pass service points for consumption or top-up with specific Android handsets that support the NFC feature. In addition, through CTM Buddy, customers can inquire as to their balance and consumption record, settle CTM service bills, or top-up BEST Prepaid cards. Users can top-up the “M.wallet+” service at all CTM shops or Macau Pass service points.
