Corporate Bits | The Venetian’s Convention and Exhibition Services receive second ISO certification

Group photoThe Venetian Macao has received an ISO 9001:2008 certification for the quality management system of its convention and exhibition services from the International Organization for Standardization.
ISO 9001:2008 sets out the criteria for a company’s quality management system. They include a strong customer focus, the motivation and involvement of top management, a process-driven approach, and continual improvement. The certification is awarded by the London-based British Standards Institution (BSI) Group.
Also part of this family of international standards is ISO 20121, which establishes the criteria for a company’s event sustainability management system. The Venetian Macao received this ISO 20121 certification in 2014 for its commitment to sustainability in all three dimensions: economic, environmental and social, at all stages of its supply chain. The Venetian Macao is currently the only convention and exhibition center in Asia holding both ISO 9001 and ISO 20121 certifications.

Wynn launches mid-autumn festival Mooncake gift boxes

Wing-Lei-mooncake-gift-boxes-(portrait)Michelin-starred Wing Lei restaurant is presenting a series of mooncake gift boxes, which incorporate traditional Chinese and contemporary design elements.
Inspired by the craftsmanship of mooncake molds, the mooncake gift boxes include bright floral patterns.  Each Wynn mooncake gift box is partially handmade to ensure the foil-embossed floral patterns are placed with precision.
Packaged within each gift box are Wing Lei’s traditional mooncakes. Classic favorites include the Four-Yolk White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake, the Double-Yolk White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake and the Egg Yolk White Lotus Seed Paste Mini Mooncake.
The mooncakes and signature tea gift boxes will be available for sale between 11:30 am and 10:30 pm from 12 September to 26 September at the Wing Lei mooncake counter.
