Court of Final Appeal new building foundations completed

The basement and external wall supports for the new Court of Final Appeal building have been completed, the Public Works Bureau. The design project specifies that the facade of the old courthouse will be conserved and a portion of the venue will be adapted to serve its new functions.  Only the front-facing section of the eastern wing of the former Judicial Police building will be preserved while the rest of the structure will be demolished to create space for a new three-story building with a basement. Construction work is projected to be completed by January 2026
