Flights to and from Osaka and Southeast Asia to resume

Flights to and from Da Nang will resume on March 2, while the Singapore route will restart on March 23. A total of nine round-trip flights are scheduled for Southeast Asia, including Hanoi, Da Nang, Bangkok, and Singapore, which is subject to increase according to the reaction and ground support equipment capacity of the destinations, according to Air Macau.

With Taiwan reopening to Macau and Hong Kong residents, Air Macau will increase the frequencies to Taipei to one flight per week, whereas those to Kaohsiung will extend to four flights.

Routes to Osaka will resume with two flights a week at the beginning of March, when flights to Tokyo will increase to the same frequency, as Air Macau faces the possibility of the cancellation of Japan’s entry requirements for Macau and mainland visitors. Further, flights to Seoul will be increased to two per week.

It is expected that Air Macau will resume flights to almost all of its outgoing destinations after the adjustments next month.

Also, routes to and from Southeast Asia operated by various airlines are resuming. Flights between Macau and Malaysia have resumed, and direct flights to Thailand and the Philippines are expected to resume within the next two months.  Staff Reporter
