The future sports garden planned for the former Canidrome will feature a car park with 490 parking spaces for light vehicles and motorcycles, as stated by the Public Works Bureau. Spanning over 40,000 square meters, the sports garden plot will be divided into four sections, with an outdoor athletics field. Pavilion one will stand at a height of four floors and will include a swimming pool, children’s pool, basketball court, running track, and a cycle path for children, while the other will have a six floor-high building that will house a skate park, table tennis courts, wall climbing facilities, volleyball courts, and badminton courts. The other two pavilions will feature multipurpose rooms.
