The Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition’s (MIECF) matching sessions on the opening day attracted several enterprises and organizations, with 65 business discussions arranged.
The “Debut@Macao—Project Launch x Innovation Matching Session,” held on the first day of the exhibition (March 27), promoted green debut projects and provided a matching platform.
Over the three-day event, the forum held five themed matching sessions, focused on debut projects such as international green and low-carbon development, environmentally friendly project matching for public institutions from Macau and Hengqin, supply and demand of green buildings, and collaboration among integrated tourism and leisure enterprises.
Meanwhile, roadshows were arranged for nine key debut projects that showcased cutting-edge technologies such as new biodegradable materials, liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging technology, self-driving electric yachts, and smart energy management, providing exhibitors with an opportunity to present and promote their offerings.
Additionally, the on-site business discussions facilitated interaction between exhibitors and traders to explore new opportunities for green collaboration.
An exhibitor participating in the roadshows noted that the project launch activity significantly enhanced cooperation in green technology and expressed the hope that more enterprises would be able to showcase their innovative capabilities through this platform.
According to traders who attended the activities, the matching sessions presented potential partnership opportunities and stimulated business interactions.
International green business opportunities
One of the activities that was said to have had a significant attraction factor was the “International Green and Low Carbon Project Matching Session,” which targeted international buyers and brought together enterprises and organizations involved in environmental protection.
This session covered a range of critical areas, such as waste management, water resources and wastewater management, and renewable energy. This international green matching platform enabled participating enterprises to seize business opportunities.
