Hengqin Port set new single-day traffic records on Friday, with 4,400 vehicles exiting and 4,700 arriving. Over 6,100 vehicles, or 66.5% of the total, were from Macau. The port has seen increased traffic in recent years, with daily vehicle crossings rising from an average of 5,200 in 2023 to 6,500 in 2024. A significant growth of 22.2% year-on-year was recorded in 2025. The introduction of 30 “one-stop” lanes has streamlined border crossings, boosting efficiency.
