HKZMB | 3,000 slots available at Macau east parking lot

Three thousand parking spaces will be available at the east parking lot of the Macau port of the Hong Kong- Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (HKZMB), according to a notice published yesterday in the Official Gazette.

The parking spaces will be open to the public for the parking of light vehicles.

The Transport Bureau also reserves the right to change the number of parking lots in the future  in response to the actual needs of the public.

Vehicles with nine seats including the driver’s, vehicles weighing over 3.5 tonnes, and vehicles taller than two meters, will not be allowed to enter the parking facilities. 

Parking fares include day and night parking periods. The day parking period is from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the night parking period will be applied from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m..

A MOP180 fare will be charged for each parking period. If a driver uses the parking spaces longer than the period for which they reserved the parking lot, then a fee of MOP270 for every extra parking period will have to be paid.

Parking space users must make an appointment to reserve the spaces at least 12 hours before they intend to use them, and can only reserve spaces up to 30 days in advance.

One or more consecutive parking periods can be appointed, with an allowed maximum of 16 consecutive parking periods.

A total of 5,143 parking spaces for private cars and motorcycles will be available at the east parking lots of the Macau port.
