IFTM updates web domain with university’s new acronym

The Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (IFTM) is introducing a new internet domain name which will apply to both their institutional website as well as electronic-mail addresses.
The new domains add an “m” to the one previously in use, becoming “iftm.edu.mo.”
This change comes as a result of the acronym update from IFT to IFTM, which followed the approval and publication of the institute’s bylaws under the Administrative Regulation 27/2019 on August 7 last year.
In a press statement, the IFTM revealed that the change in the institution’s domain will take effect immediately. It also noted that the old domain will not be completely shut down and will continue to function for a transition period until December 31, 2021. RM
