Macau bans flights from outside mainland China

Macau has announced a two-week ban on flights from regions outside the mainland China from January 9 to January 23, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre just announced in a statement.
The move is to deter the spread of Covid-19 variants.
Yesterday, Hong Kong authorities also announced a two-week ban on flights from the United States and seven other countries and held 2,500 passengers on a cruise ship for coronavirus testing yesterday as the city attempted to stem an emerging omicron outbreak.
