Macau donates MOP30m to Gansu and Qinghai

Macau has announced a donation of 30 million patacas to assist earthquake-affected areas in northwest China’s Gansu and Qinghai provinces. Ho Iat Seng, Chief Executive of the SAR, said the Macau government is committed to providing disaster relief work in the two provinces. He expressed the hope for a swift return to normalcy for residents in the affected areas. A 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck the Jishishan County of the Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu last week.
