The MGM Financial Educational Drama School Tour has reached more than 12,000 students

As one of Macau’s first integrated resort operators with all its casinos recognized as “Responsible Gambling Model Units”, MGM remains steadfast in upholding the values of integrity, innovation and pragmatic execution in promoting responsible gaming (RG). MGM’s commitment is deeply embedded in its corporate culture and extends beyond compliance, reflecting its vision to foster a healthy and sustainable community.

MGM MACAU again honored as “Responsible Gambling Model Unit”; RG Task Force members received official RG training certificates

Since 2023, MGM has launched the “MGM Responsible Gaming Community Engagement Scheme”, a flagship initiative designed to enhance public understanding of RG and encourage healthy financial management across diverse audiences, including primary, secondary and university students; youth; families; tourists; and industry professionals. Through creative, interactive and educational approaches, MGM seeks to empower the public with essential knowledge and skills to make informed and responsible decisions.

The 3rd RG Community Orienteering Competition

Building on this strong foundation, MGM has delivered meaningful impact through a series of industry-first activities, including:

School Outreach — MGM is the first integrated resort operator to launch the financial educational drama school tour series, delivering nearly 70 sessions to over 12,000 primary and secondary students since 2023.

Higher Education Partnerships — MGM established the first university partnerships to offer orientation courses on RG and financial wellness for incoming bachelor’s and master’s students.

Youth Development & Professional Training — MGM conducted more than 800 hours of lectures for over 500 university students and young professionals, advancing their understanding of RG and financial literacy.

Furthering its dedication, MGM introduced the “MGM Responsible Gaming Employee Care Program” in 2025, reaffirming its belief that “RG begins with our people”. By strengthening its team members’ knowledge, MGM endeavors to promote responsible gaming from the company to the wider community.

Through these ongoing efforts, MGM sets new benchmarks for the industry while supporting Macau’s vision for sustainable tourism and community well-being. Guided by its core values and driven by innovation, MGM will further promote responsible gaming, helping to build a safer, healthier, and more sustainable future for all.
