Photo contest to promote sports practice

The ‘Macau Sports’ photography competition, co-organized by the Macau Sport Development Board (ID) and the Photographic Society of Macau, is being held again this year to “provide the population with different opportunities to feel the joy of sport, enhancing sports knowledge among the citizens and promoting the development of sports activities,” captured through the lenses of amateur photographers.
The 2015 edition of the competition is divided into two themes: “Hero and Competition” and “Joy and Physical Condition”. For the first category, competitors are entitled to enter with photographs related to all sports competitions held in Macau during 2015. The second category is for still images of the activities organized by the Sports Bureau under the “Sports for All” 2015 program.
All local residents can submit works until the deadline on January 7.
Works should be submitted to the organizers, and details about the contest rules and submission methods are available at the headquarters of both ID and the photography association, photography equipment shops across Macau, and on the ID’s official website www.sport.gov.mo. RM
