Sands China Ltd. has received ISO 14001:2015 certification for its Environmental Management System (EMS), marking a significant step in the company’s commitment to sustainable operations and adherence to international standards.

The certification, awarded by the British Standards Institution (BSI) Group, recognizes Sands China’s effective management of environmental issues. ISO 14001 is the most widely recognized standard for EMS globally, providing a framework to enhance environmental performance and compliance.

Sean McCreery, executive vice president of Operations, emphasized the collective effort behind this achievement.

“The sustainable development of our business and the environment has always been a core value at Sands China,” he stated. McCreery highlighted the company’s dedication to integrating environmental protection into daily operations and fostering a green culture. He affirmed that ongoing improvements and energy-saving measures are essential to reducing operational impact and building a sustainable community.
