Shenzhen authorities have launched subsidy measures of up to RMB20 million to support Hong Kong and Macau medical institutions in its Qianhai cooperation zone. The subsidies will be distributed over three years, with an annual allocation rate of 50%, 30% and 20%, respectively. The hospitals will be categorized into two levels: hospitals fully owned by Hong Kong and Macau operators, where the subsidy will range from RMB8 million and RMB20 million. Those jointly owned by SARs operations will have subsidies ranging from RMB4 million to RMB16 million.
