Subsidized housing selection process begins

The selection process for subsidized housing units in Zone A has begun, with 98 units chosen in the first week (March 4–10). According to the Housing Bureau, three-bedroom units were the most popular, with 65 selected, followed by 33 two-bedroom units. No families opted for one-bedroom units. The 2019 subsidized housing application was the last conducted under the old law. Of the 4,211 eligible families, 2,874 remain in the selection queue, while 881 were deemed ineligible and 148 withdrew their applications.
