Everyone knows Vida Rica Bar at Mandarin Oriental, Macau is the place to be for cocktails, but this spring they are surprising foodies with some of the city’s finest hotdogs. Out of the five flavoursome hot dogs on the special menu crafted by Chef de Cuisine, Marco De Boni, “A Night in Paris” stands out as a highlight.
A hot dog made with frankfurter, choucroute, lardons, topped with Dijon mustard in an extra-long baguette, this hot dog is perfect to be shared with several friends.
For those who enjoy spiciness, “Gangnam Dog” is a must-try, made with hot and spicy pork sausage, kimchi and topping it off with pork belly. Truffles lovers can order “The Italian,” with black truffles, Italian sausage caramelised onions, cheese and chives that will surely delight.
The selection could also be paired with Disco Fries – Jumbo potatoes, Black pepper, crispy bacon and cheddar cheese or the Diablo Fries – Sweet potato, hot sauce, feta cheese and onions together with a milkshake or beer. Irene Sam, MDT
