Temporary traffic arrangement near the airport

Starting tomorrow, local road users will have to use a temporary lane improvised near the Macau International Airport when driving in the direction of Macau University of Science and Technology from the airport side. The traffic arrangement is due to ongoing lift work for the nearby construction of the light rail transit, according to a joint statement released by the Transport Bureau and the Transportation Infrastructure Office. It is expected that this particular phase of the project will last around 30 days, with part of the road from the nearby roundabout to Av. do Aeroporto temporarily closed down for construction work, the statement also reported. The authorities urge the public to pay heed to the provisional traffic arrangement and instructions in the bustling district for the sake of safety.
