The 8th UNESCO UNITWIN Conference, themed, “World Heritage as Resilience for Tourism Recovery,” recentlu took place in Zhuhai, marking the 50th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention. Organized by the UNESCO UNITWIN Network and several universities, the conference gathered global scholars to discuss how heritage can foster resilience and sustainable tourism. Key discussions emphasized interdisciplinary approaches to heritage management, showcasing successful case studies and innovative strategies for revitalizing local communities through cultural resources.
