The Wynn Care Foundation and the Faculty of Humanities and Arts of Macau University of Science and Technology jointly invited Huang Xiangming, the young calligrapher and award nominee of the Chinese Calligraphy Lanting Award and the Lin Sanzhi Award, to hold a Nanjing Chinese calligraphy exhibition, “The Story of Stone.”
The exhibition is open to the public until November 26 at the Wynn Palace art gallery, displaying a series of themed calligraphy works created by Xiangming Huang, including huge couplets, classical handscrolls, and bound books.
“As part of Wynn’s ongoing commitment to promoting culture and art, it has made a concerted effort to promote China’s invaluable traditional culture,” the gaming operator said in a statement.
The exhibition showcases the culture and heritage of Jiangsu, and also enables the audience to appreciate the “true essence of Chinese traditional culture.”
