Wynn presents new immersive art exhibition for Art Macao

Wynn officially unveiled a new immersive art exhibition “The Contour of Light: A Re encounter with Leonardo da Vinci” as part of the Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2023

Until October 15 at Wynn Palace, “the multisensory exhibition will use cutting edge technology including Holograms, light and shadow projections and Virtual Reality (VR) to create an unparalleled, 360 degree holistic experience,” the gaming operator said in a statement.

The exhibition also aims to bring an immersive cultural atmosphere to the entire city as a gallery and an art garden.

The exhibition is designed to lead visitors on a journey that follows and retraces Leonardo da Vinci’s life and works through the modernity of images, lights and sounds.

Complementing the digital art, the exhibits use Virtual Reality (VR) and Hologram technology as well as computer-built 3D spaces with visual, auditory, tactile and olfactory simulated experiences to break through the barriers of traditional, physical exhibitions.

In tandem with the grand opening, Wynn also hosted an engaging art seminar to discuss in an effort to encourage more people to explore the city’s rich cultural and artistic events, while also integrating art and culture into the community.

In her welcome speech, Linda Chen, president and vice chairman of the Board of Wynn Macau, Limited, said that “elegance and intellect are intertwined with Wynn’s artistic vision.”

Wynn pledged to continue to “play a proactive role in advancing Macau’s cultural industries, promoting the integration of ‘culture and art + tourism’, creating local cultural tourism offerings, and contributing much more toward achieving moderately diversified economic development.”
