In support of the development of local talent, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) is offering young people the opportunity to gain work experience through the GEG Integrated Resort Internship Program.
According to a GEG press release, the program was launched in 2008 to prepare local students for careers in the tourism industry. Since then, over 600 students from a range of educational institutions have participated in the program.
GEG offers work experience opportunities for young people interested in the tourism industry in order to nurture local talent in Macau.
In addition, GEG runs a tailored internship program for students with special needs from Escola Luso-Chinesa Técnico-Profissional, Caritas School and other institutions referred by the Labour Affairs Bureau.
Caritas School principal Mr. Shek Chiu Cheung said, “I appreciate GEG providing these internship opportunities and ongoing support for our special needs students. A well-organized internship program helps the students develop practical work skills in a short period of time to help them prepare for a successful future.”
