The award underscores Sands China’s commitment to talent development and continuous investment in team members, said Paulo Cheong, vice president of human resources. “Receiving this esteemed award from ATD is truly an honor,” Cheong said.
The training program at The Londoner Macao empowers over 6,000 team members to create memorable guest experiences. Since launching in 2021, “The Knowledge” has earned acclaim from Asia Pacific HR groups and significantly enhanced professionalism and brand awareness at The Londoner Macao.
Sands China’s dedication to training is evidenced by averaging 88.3 training hours per team member in 2023, far exceeding the ATD standard of 40.6 hours. This commitment has earned numerous honors for the integrated resort operator focusing on retention, work-life balance, and team member experience.
