Sands China launched its Macao Creative Pop-Up Store – a platform for local non-governmental organizations and designers to display and sell their arts and craft products to guests and visitors at The Venetian Macao.
The initiative provides an opportunity for disadvantaged groups in Macau to showcase their talents and products.
“This event reinforces our commitment to bolster Macau’s cultural and creative industries, and to support some of the local organisations that provide such important services to the Macau community,” said Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China Ltd, as cited in a press released by the gaming operator.
The Macao Creative Pop-Up Store has been built for four local non-governmental organisations: Macau IC2 Association, Fuhong Society of Macau, Macau Special Olympics, and Macau Handicraft and Creative People Association to display and sell their arts and craft products until December 20.
The store features more than 100 types of items, including umbrellas, t-shirts, shopping bags, scarves, key chains, magnets.
