Melco Resorts & Entertainment, in collaboration with the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre, has organized the Melco Mask Design Competition.
The competition features an expert panel of renowned global, regional and local judges from the fields of theatre direction and design, architecture, fashion design and media, supporting the competition to promote local creative design, small businesses and Made in Macau projects.
Among the star-studded judges for the Grand Design Award are Franco Dragone, the creative genius behind Melco’s award-winning theatrical experience, “The House of Dancing Water”; Viviana Muscettola, Director of Zaha Hadid Architects, Melco’s design partner for Morpheus at City of Dreams; and Barney Cheng, a renowned designer for celebrities who was featured in Forbes 2010 “25 Influential Chinese in Global Fashion.”
The winning mask designs will be made by local SMEs to support small businesses and creative development in Macau. The competition is open to all Macau ID card holders who are 14 years of age or above and is accepting entries until September 30.
