Sands China Ltd. recently led a diverse delegation of team members to Zhuhai, as part of the company’s ongoing professionalism training initiatives in the Greater Bay Area.
The gaming operator organised the “Professionalism Education for Sands China Team Members – Visit to Hengqin, Zhuhai in the Greater Bay Area” to enhance team members’ awareness and understanding of regional cooperation.
Team members in the delegation included senior company executives, Sands Cares Ambassadors, and contestants from the Macao Vocational Skills Competition, among other rank and file team members. The group of 50 spent their day visiting the Hengqin New Area Planning Exhibition Hall and a brewery for local brewer Macau Beer Co., Ltd.
“Through professionalism education efforts like this visit, Sands China hopes to encourage our team members to have a deeper understanding of the country, prepare for their own career planning, and better grasp the opportunities in the development of the Greater Bay Area,” said Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China Ltd.
