SJM participates in the “2021 World Environment Day” in support of the Macao Environmental Protection Bureau (DSPA) to boost environmental awareness and to encourage employee engagement. A series of activities kicked off on 7 June, when all SJM properties switched off their exterior and non-essential interior lights for one hour from 8:30 p.m. Two other summer events, namely “Casual Summer Wear – Let’s Conserve Energy” and “Non-essential Lights off at Lunch”, take place from now until August 31. SJM also aims to reduce the energy consumption of air conditioners in office by setting a temperature no lower than 25°C.
