To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Melco Resorts & Entertainment recently hosted a patriotic music session as part of its “Splendors of China Passport” program. Melco invited Professor Xu Qing, a former associate professor of the People’s Liberation Army Academy of Art and Head Artistic Judge of Melco Star Youth Talent Competition 2021, to advocate a better understanding of Chinese history and culture to more than 70 management and non-management colleagues through patriotic songs.
The session discussed the lyrics, poems and compositions of patriotic melodies to “explore various eras and historical milestones of the Communist Party of China’s 100-year history.” Songs introduced included, among others, “My Country, My People”, “The Pearl of the Orient” and “Ode to Red Flag”.
According to data from Melco, to date, more than 3,500 colleagues have participated in online courses, over 5,300 colleagues have attended seminars to learn about national conditions,
