Sands China Ltd. recently hosted a seminar for team members and local youth at The Parisian Macao about a success story of a local brand, as part of the company’s ongoing professionalism education efforts.
Titled “Professionalism Education for Team Members: Macau Beer Macau Brand – Macau Story,” the July 30 seminar aimed to encourage young people to approach challenges and opportunities with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset. Charles M. Choy, co-chairman of Macau Beer Company Limited, was invited as a guest speaker to share his views on how local brands can enter the market in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and thrive under the Macao SAR government’s tourism+ initiative.
Moderated by Sam Chongnin, Sands China’s vice president of corporate communications and community affairs, the event attracted around 210 participants, including Sands China’s management team members, interns and students who have participated in the company’s DSAL Internship Programme – Level Up Training and Career Experience Opportunities Programme.
