With the aim of encouraging local youth to make the best out of their summer holiday and to broaden their horizons, MGM once again organized its annual summer program, “The MGM Experience” for the 10th year.
The program offered teenagers hands-on work experience at an integrated resort and volunteering work at various community associations, which enabled them to discover their future career paths while getting to care more about their own community.
Taking place in July, the program was participated by a total of 100 local teenagers, who were referred by Education and Youth Development Bureau and different associations, according to a statement issued by the gaming operator.
The teenagers visited back-of-house areas of MGM properties, and then experienced the day-to-day operations at various departments, including Pastry Kitchen, Room Service, Spa and Gym, Concierge, Hotel Front Office and Linen Room.
